About Globe Accounting

Managing Director, Conor Ward, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.  He has over 25 years’ experience working in the accounting profession.  This included 10 years working for one of the ‘Big 4′ accountancy firms where he offered business and advisory advice to small and medium sized businesses across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and another 10 years working in ‘industry’ where he worked as Managing Director to an engineering group growing it’s profitability 5 x times.  In addition, he set up an engineering company from scratch along with his business partner where it has successfully traded for over 10 years.

Some of the projects worked on

- starting a company and growing it to a profitable company achieving turnover of over £3m

- successfully obtaining grant funding for numerous clients, ranging from £10k to £1.m in grant funding totalling approval of £2m in totality;

- obtaining banking funding for numerous clients, ranging from £100k to £2m of bank funding;

- assisting clients with the acquisition and sales of numerous businesses;
